The fifth run of the Sphinx was run in Metal Flake Glow C-Blend plastic, which had become popular after being debuted with the Pharaoh. There were 1000 discs in the run (plus 84 initial Team Infinite stamped editions).
This run in the glow plastic came out significantly more overstable than previous runs. While it still flights straight, it was more torque resistant than the previous runs and certainly had more end fade. This run of the Sphinx was initially released with a limited edition stamp design, then also saw stamps for the 2019 World Championships in Peoria, Illinois and the Portneuf Valley Open in Idaho. A stock stamp eventually followed.
