The Metal Flake C-Blend SLAB is Back

The stock edition of the Metal Flake C-Blend SLAB is back in stock now, and the new stamp for this run features the Great Wall of China. It’s a fun, overstable utility driver in high demand– always flat and always very beefy, it can come in handy when getting out of rough situations on the course. If you need a hard fade to get around obstacles, or if you’re throwing into a fierce headwind, or if you love to throw with power, the SLAB is a great choice for a distance driver.

The Land Mine from Doomsday Discs

Every once in a while, a disc comes along that makes you think, “hmm, that’s different.” The Land Mine is one of those discs that looks pretty silly with its large diameter, thick rim, and boxy edge. Rumor has it, the disc was originally going to be called “The Can Lid” until the Doomsday team took a different route with the official naming. But despite its almost humorous profile, this thing flies really nicely. It is easy to control, flies slow and straight, and then drops without carrying beyond the intended target, with minimal fade. It is really fun to throw! So, give the Land Mine a try and you might be surprised at how useful it is. So far, it is only available in a firm, base-line plastic being called “Weapons Grade.”

The Plague in Fallout Plastic

Also from Doomsday Discs, we now have the stock edition of the Plague distance driver in yellow splatter “Fallout” plastic. This is a somewhat overstable distance driver with the following flight numbers:

Speed 12 / Glide 5 / Turn -1 / Fade 2.5

For players who love the speed-12 distance drivers, this will be a great option that is not quite as overstable as some of the best-known options, but also not too flippy, always coming back out of the flex line with an end fade. The Fallout plastic is not nearly as gummy as the “Meltdown” prototype plastic run which we still have in stock as well.

The Plague also has one of the most intense, busy, interesting stock stamps we’ve seen in a while. There’s a lot going on in that stamp.

I-Blend MAYA Restock

The Maya is a favorite distance driver for slower arm speeds. It is understable enough to resist and early fade and helps a lot of players to reach longer distances than usual. The I-Blend Maya is now back in stock with a new run and a new stamp. Get the I-Blend edition now, and in a week, watch for a Metal Flake Glow edition.

Watch Out for the Bear!

Coming out at 10AM Central Time on Thursday, the Westside Bear in First Run VIP Ice plastic! The Bear is here to control the fairways. The Bear features a neutral to slightly understable flight for the more advanced player. Newer players will find it to be a reliable fairway driver with a little turn and a reliable fade. It’s considered to be the bigger brother of the Westside Discs Stag.
