Meet the Team: Andrew “Big Country” Belet
Have any of you ever struggled to balance disc golf and “real life?” Andrew Belet is one of those people that has it down to a science. He remains one of the most active disc golfers in the Colorado scene while also balancing a life of personal fitness and wellness. Most importantly, he holds the Purple Heart from his services in Afghanistan. Infinite Discs thanks you for your service, Andrew!
Andrew Belet, PDGA #55114 played his first round of disc golf 27 years ago in Missoula, MT and has continued to play ever since. He has been a part of Team Infinite for 3 years now, and was the first member of Team Infinite that was not an employee of the company. He earned this by being the most active member on the Infinite website, and is currently the 6th most active member of all time. A military veteran of 14 years, Andrew has played disc golf as far as South Korea, Japan, and Australia. In the US, he has seen disc golf in 20 different states.
Big Country is constantly pursuing his interests, including professional wrestling. He holds the Colorado Springs Wrestling Heavyweight Championship and is sponsored by Hero Supplements and 5 Star Nutrition Buckly AFB.
On the course, you’ll see him throwing the Infinite Discs Chariot, Reptilian Disc Golf Raptor and Scale, Innova Roc3 and Teebird, and the Westside Discs Sword. Phantom Falls is his favorite course (if you haven’t seen this course, you better get out to Denver area right now!). His favorite tournament is the 303 Open, a popular A-tier event in Denver.
