We’ve had a couple of customers ask us if we’re just teasing people, or tricking people when we announce in these email newsletters that certain discs are in stock. So, we felt like we should address that concern.

Some people don’t see the email or don’t check our website until the next day, or they just don’t get a chance to follow up when the announcement interests them until sometime later. However, we live in a strange time that is seeing unprecedented growth in disc golf. At the same time, the disc supply has been lessened. So, when we announce a popular disc, like a LUNA, or a ZONE, or a DESTROYER, etc. have come back in stock, those discs may simply sell out within a matter of minutes or hours. We announced a large shipment of Luna putters earlier this week. At the time of the announcement there were well over 300 available. They did not make it through the evening. So if you checked your email the next day, it would appear that we were announcing discs that do not exist. But they had merely sold out.

Please understand that we would have no interest or intent to announce discs which we don’t actually have. If you don’t see the discs that were mentioned in the announcement, then it was because dozens, or hundreds, or thousands of people clicked on the link before you did.

We’ll keep trying our hardest to meet demands. We WANT you to get the discs that you desire. That’s our goal– to have enough discs for everybody. So please be patient with us while we’re trying to meet the demand with limited supply, and understand that these newsletters are not intended to frustrate you, but to inform you whenever we do get new products, or important restocks, or fun news for disc golf fans. We hope to be informative and fun with these emails. If you miss out on a big release, it is very likely we’ll get more and we’ll try to let you know when we do.
