Charity and Disc Golf: Campership Classic
The Campership Classic is an annual event where a passionate community raises funds for Victory Junction, a charity-driven camp for children with chronic/serious illnesses. Disc Golfers from North Carolina come together to play a tournament, and proceeds go straight to the charity. Co-founder Jacob Byrd has been a member of Team Infinite since 2016, the same year as the inaugural Campership Classic. Together, Byrd and the disc golf community have raised over $33,000. Team Infinite at GBO
Team Infinite made a big appearance at the GBO with 12 members playing. Let’s see what happened! The highlight of the week had to be Team Infinite smashing 2 aces at Clover Hill on Day 1 of competition. Keith Miskell #81275 hit hole 17 (left picture), and Robby Harris #43412 Hit hole 9 (right picture)! Nice shots guys! Not to be overshadowed by a couple of great throws, Jessica Weese #50656 had an amazing week’s worth of throws! On top of being an incredible ambassador for disc golf, he is also a working historian, archivist, curator, and collegiate educator. Casey Lee Wins in Advanced division in SC
Congratulations to Casey Lee, PDGA #63411 for winning the Advanced division in Hilton Head Island, SC! He shot 2 rounds just above 1,000 rating, and averaged 989 at the Hilton Head Invitational event on February 17th to 18th, 2018. Teammate Jason Connatser won the recreational division as well, so it was a great weekend for Team Infinite! Casey was tied after the event was over, and was able to beat Adam Mcjunkin, PDGA #45246 in a playoff.

Jason Connatser Secures MA3 Win in Hilton Head Island, SC
Team Infinite member Jason Connatser, PDGA #79635 takes home the win in the Recreational division at the Hilton Head Invitational event in South Carolina. He finished all 3 rounds with a rating above 900, which is outstanding for any Recreational division player. In his comments made to Infinite Discs, he gives a shoutout to Bobby Newman, PDGA #87061, a member of the Infinite Discs VIP club. Newman took second place behind Jason, and the pair was able to play together during all 3 rounds.
